Lodging Description: Cendana is a hotel at the famous Monkey Forest Street of Ubud, overlooking broad rice fields and surrounded by flower gardens. Every room is designed to have windows and private verandah or balcony overlooking the views, with direct access to the open swimming pools, restaurant and parking lot. Set on an area 250 meters (700 feet) above sea level of Ubud, the atmosphere is quiet although it is on the busy Monkey Forest street with rows of shops, restaurants, tourist service counters and banks. This is because the site is deep, the buildings are set on a 7,000 sq meter piece of land, with most of its area quite far away from the busy traffic. Only a few minutes by a walk to the traditional market, the palace, the art museums, the monkey forest and many other places where artisans work.
